At Techbau, each new project is guided by a commitment to sustainability and innovation, with a strong focus on energy efficiency<\/strong> and the reduction of carbon emissions<\/strong>, in line with leading global environmental certification standards.<\/p><\/div><\/div>

Techbau adheres to the main international environmental certification protocols, including USGBC LEED<\/strong> and BREEAM<\/strong>, and includes within its organization specialized professionals such as LEED APs<\/strong>, BREEAM Assessors<\/strong>, Energy Managers<\/strong>, renewable energy technicians<\/strong> and qualified SQE ecologists<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Its sustainability approach goes beyond energy efficiency, addressing water conservation, emissions reduction and a careful evaluation of the project site in order to enhance its potential and specific characteristics.<\/p>\n\n

The design process also focuses on reducing land consumption, improving occupant comfort and selecting construction materials aligned with the principles of recycling and recyclability. To support this approach, tools such as Life Cycle Assessment (LCA)<\/strong>, Carbon Footprint Analysis<\/strong> and landscape studies aimed at environmental compensation and site regeneration are regularly adopted.<\/p>\n\n

CRREM Analysis<\/h2>\n\n

The Carbon Risk Real Estate Monitor (CRREM) is a European research and innovation project under the Horizon 2020 program.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Its goal is to assess whether a specific building complies with the carbon emission standards established by the Paris Agreement<\/strong>. This ambitious agreement aims to limit global warming to a range between 2\u00b0C and 1.5\u00b0C<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

Real estate assets are increasingly exposed to climate risks. CRREM\u2019s<\/strong> mission is to accelerate decarbonization and enhance climate resilience in the real estate sector. The project provides scientifically validated pathways for carbon reduction<\/strong> at various levels, including individual buildings, properties, portfolios, and companies. <\/p>\n\n

The risk assessment tool developed by CRREM<\/strong> identifies the risk of \u201casset stranding<\/strong>,\u201d which occurs when emission levels exceed the maximum allowable threshold. It is designed to communicate these risks within real estate portfolios to asset owners and investors.<\/p><\/div><\/div>
