Techbau S.p.A. has signed a forward purchase agreement with Logicor and Kryalos SGR for the sale of a brownfield site of approximately 95,000 sqm located in Pomezia (Rome), designated for the development of a new next-generation logistics complex of approximately 38,000 sqm.
The development has been designed to meet high standards of sustainability and construction quality and will be delivered in line with BREEAM Excellent certification criteria. The building will integrate a 3,500 kWp rooftop photovoltaic system, contributing to on-site renewable energy generation, the reduction of CO₂ emissions and the overall improvement of the complex’s energy performance.
The transaction involves the development of a logistics platform designed to ensure high operational standards in support of modern distribution and supply chain requirements. Techbau will carry out the project as EPC contractor.
The complex will include extensive external areas supporting the operational efficiency of the site, including 96 car parking spaces, 20 truck parking spaces and 36 loading bays, configured to ensure efficient logistics flows and optimise goods handling activities.
Through this transaction, Techbau further strengthens its role in the logistics sector, contributing to the development of efficient and sustainable infrastructure designed to respond to the evolution of supply chains and the growing demand for next-generation logistics assets in the Italian market.
