Techbau S.p.A. is supporting the delivery of MIL1, CyrusOne’s first data center in Italy, located in Segrate (Milan), as general contractor under a design and build contract.

The facility will deliver 27 MW of IT capacity and will represent a significant step in the development of digital infrastructure in the Lombardy region.

The project will extend over 7,000 sqm of world-class technical space and will consist of three 9 MW data halls.

MIL1 will integrate solutions aimed at environmental sustainability: the data center will operate on 100% renewable energy and will aim to achieve BREEAM “Very Good” certification.
