Castelletto Sopra Ticino – NO, April 7, 2026 – Intesa Sanpaolo is supporting the growth of Techbau S.p.A. with a €110 million financing package aimed at supporting the company’s development plans. Techbau is a general contractor active in the development of projects across several areas of civil engineering and infrastructure, with particular attention to the highest standards of sustainability, quality and safety.
The financing was provided through the Banca dei Territori Division, led by Stefano Barrese, in collaboration with the Corporate Finance Mid Cap structure of the IMI CIB Division, to support the development of a large logistics hub in the Municipality of Alessandria.
The project involves the development of an area of approximately 187,000 square metres, with rooftop photovoltaic systems installed across the buildings, and aims to achieve LEED Platinum certification, the highest internationally recognised standard for energy and environmental sustainability in buildings.
Techbau focuses on the development of next-generation logistics platforms designed according to advanced ESG criteria, with particular attention to the local areas in which projects are developed. This approach underpins the company’s development activities and has already been adopted in numerous projects delivered in recent years. In 2025, this commitment also translated into environmental and landscape enhancement initiatives, with the creation of 462,981 sqm of green areas and more than 86,000 new plantings of trees and shrubs in the urban areas where the projects were developed.
The transaction forms part of Intesa Sanpaolo’s broader commitment to supporting investments aimed at the sustainable transition, assisting companies in improving energy efficiency, reducing emissions and developing innovative infrastructure.
