Biomethane Plants

We are developing for Retina an integrated system of plants for the production of biomethane and natural fertilizers, designed to enhance local resources and transform them into renewable energy and tangible environmental benefits.
The project includes 22 biomethane plants and 16 composting facilities, built according to the highest standards of efficiency and sustainability. Each plant produces an average of 500 Smc/h of biomethane, contributing significantly to an 80% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions compared to traditional fossil fuels.
The overall system integrates 66 digesters and 16 storage tanks for liquid digestate, ensuring optimal management of agricultural and livestock by-products — about 180.9 kton/year used for self-consumption — and the production of over 110 kton/year of natural fertilizers.
A virtuous model of circular economy, combining technological innovation, environmental sustainability, and the enhancement of local value chains.
