Biomethane Plants

Lazio – Campania – Puglia – Molise | Italy
We are developing for Retina an integrated system of plants for biomethane production and organic fertilizers, designed to enhance local resources and convert them into renewable energy. The program includes 22 biomethane plants and 16 composting facilities, developed according to high standards of efficiency and sustainability. Each plant will produce on average 500 Smc/h of biomethane, enabling up to an 80% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions compared to traditional fossil fuels.
The overall system includes 66 digesters and 16 liquid digestate storage tanks, allowing the management of approximately 180.9 kton/year of agricultural and livestock by-products and the production of more than 110 kton/year of organic fertilizers. A circular economy model combining technological innovation, environmental sustainability and the valorisation of local supply chains.
